Founded by Marlene Vieira, one of the most influential chefs in Portuguese gastronomic heritage and a true ambassador of Portugueseness, Marlene Vieira Group is one in a kind.
From "Marlene,", a refined space that tells the story of the chef and takes a gastronomic journey through her history and learning, to "Zunzum", the celebration of Portuguese cuisine and a new look at the country's gastronomy, the Marlene Vieira Group is a vast universe, where sustainability and seasonality concerns are always taken into account.
The Studio
Krausz Studio partnered with CHEF Marlene Vieira for content production (written and visual), Social Media strategy and management, and strategic direction in web communications (social media and website). In the case of the Zunzum restaurant, the Studio ALSO worked in the area of press relations, as well as networking with relevant contacts, in order to promote the brand's good reputation.

In addition, we have carried out, across the board, consultancy focused on the image of the Marlene Vieira Group, on the website and in other forms of communication.

"Marlene," has a special relevance in the chef's growth on a national level, leveraging her ambition for a successful international career. With a signature cuisine with a strong focus on seasonality, “Marlene,” restaurant brings Portuguese flavors worked with haute cuisine techniques to the table. Chef Marlene applies her creative cooking techniques to traditional dishes with a twist, reframing classic flavors in a contemporary showcase.
On the other hand, "Zunzum" works as Chef Marlene Vieira's creative playground. It was born before "Marlene," but that doesn't mean it's more classic. The menu was created from the chef's desire, during the pandemic, to overcome a new Portuguese cuisine. Therefore, the location of the restaurant, overlooking the river - and the world - was taken into account. This proximity to the sea also influences the menu that links the different Portuguese traditions with a modern and contemporary approach. Marlene Vieira describes this restaurant as a universe of "Portuguese flavors and ingredients, worked with techniques from around the world".
